Who we are

North Star Ag is a first generation family owned business. Zane Erickson, founder and President of North Star Ag, went to college for Diesel Mechanics, but quickly realized that wasn’t his forever career. He started selling seed for Legend Seeds but needed a way to deliver seed to the farmers. Soon after he picked up his first line of machinery, Meridian Manufacturing Seed Tenders, from which he grew in his passion for selling machinery. Zane continues to sell machinery daily and oversees our marketing department.

He is married to Cami Erickson, Vice President, who has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She has been a part of North Star Ag full time since 2018. Since both Zane and Cami are a part of the business everyday, you will often see their boys at the office with them, helping out by mowing, sweeping, or running around the yard. Brayden (8), wants to work at North Star Ag when he grows up, and has a passion for wake boarding and surfing at the lake. Grayson (6), wants to be a farmer, loves tractor rides, but also loves helping (or bugging) the guys in the shop. Miles (3), is a busy boy, enjoys rides around the yard, and playing with his toys.
